Buried: Grave 524 Pink FF, Canford Cemetary, Westbury-On-Trym, Bristol William was actually registered at birth as Henry William, although he lived, was married and died as William Henry. He was a soldier on active service in the Somme when he married (this was during WW1) and a motor engineer when he died. Apparently he was badly gassed during WW1 and was ill during the rest of his life. We have his birth, marriage and death certificates plus the special licence for his marriage.
